The Monarch Room is an upscale restaurant in Manhattan, and Gilded Lily is a club located below The Monarch Room. CMG designed and installed all of the interior metal and glass for both spaces and also designed and installed the custom lighting seen throughout the restaurant and club. Metallic walls and surfaces combine with well-placed custom lighting to create dramatic dual spaces that are luxurious and modern while also being inclusive and comfortable. Individually, the projects required an aesthetic that strikes a balance between modern and luxe. As a pair, the spaces needed to complement one another while also feeling breathtakingly distinct from both each other and from any other space in the city. To achieve this, CMG worked with custom metal and glass in varying hues, embracing cool silver tones for The Monarch Room and warm gold tones in Gilded Lily. Lighting works to enhance the effects of the metal surfaces in both spaces.
